Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy (“Policy”) forms an integral part of the Terms & Conditions of RAS Spaces, a product of Rasspaces Pvt. Ltd, and shall be read together with the Service Agreement, Quotation, and other contractual documents executed between the Company and the Client.
By making any payment, approving designs, signing the agreement, or allowing execution to commence, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy.

Hereinafter referred to as “RAS Spaces”, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”.
2. Scope of Policy
This Policy governs cancellation, refund, and termination of all services provided by RAS Spaces, including but not limited to:

Interior design consultancy
-
Modular kitchens and wardrobes
-
Custom furniture and factory-made units
-
TV units, Pooja units, storage solutions
-
On-site civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and installation services
-
Any allied or value-added interior services
3. Booking Amount & Project Initiation
-
3.1 Booking Amount
A minimum 10% booking amount of the total project value is mandatory to initiate the project.
The booking amount is non-interest bearing and adjusted against the final project cost. -
3.2 48-Hour Free Look Period with out work commencing
Clients may cancel the project within 48 hours from the date of payment of the booking amount.
Cancellation must be requested in writing via registered email.
100% of the booking amount will be refunded within 7–10 working days, excluding bank processing time.
4. Cancellation After Free Look Period
Any cancellation request made after 48 hours from booking confirmation shall result in forfeiture of the booking amount.
No refund shall be applicable due to:

Allocation of design and execution resources
-
Design consultations and planning
-
Vendor coordination and capacity blocking
-
Administrative and operational expenses
5. Cancellation After Design Finalisation / Quotation Approval
Once any of the following milestones are completed:

Design approval work in progress (written / WhatsApp / email confirmation)
-
Quotation/ (Bill of Quantities) sign-off
-
Order placement with vendors, factories, or suppliers
Then:
❌ Cancellation is not permitted
❌ No refund shall be applicable irrespective of execution status
6. Stage-Wise Cancellation & Refund Rules

6.1 Design Stage :
If cancellation occurs during the design stage, design consultation and planning charges shall be deducted. Remaining amount, if any, may be refunded at the Company’s discretion. -
6.2 Modular Furniture
Once the order is placed, manufacturing begins immediately.

6.3 Custom Furniture
Made-to-order and site-specific.
❌ Strictly non-cancellable and non-refundable -
6.4 On-Site Execution Services
Cancellation not permitted once execution has commenced.
Client must pay for work completed up to the cancellation date. -
6.5 Readymade / Store Products
Once billed, dispatched, or installed, no cancellation or refund shall be allowed.
7. Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be considered only in exceptional cases where:

There is a proven and unrectifiable defect in workmanship or materials

The issue cannot be resolved despite reasonable rectification attempts

Refund value will be calculated strictly based on:

Stage of completion
-
Materials procured
-
Services rendered
Decision of RAS Spaces shall be final and binding.

8. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds shall not be granted under the following circumstances:

Change of mind after agreement or design approval
-
Aesthetic preferences or subjective dissatisfaction
-
Delays caused due to client approvals, payments, or site readiness
-
Damage caused after handover due to misuse or third-party intervention
-
Scope changes requested after execution
-
Verbal assurances not documented in writing
9. Project Hold / Pause by Client
-
If the project is put on hold by the Client for more than 30 days:
-
RAS Spaces reserves the right to close the project
-
Adjust paid amounts against completed work
-
Forfeit any remaining balance without refund
10. Delay & Force Majeure
RAS Spaces shall not be liable for delays or refunds due to:
-
Client-side delays or non-cooperation
-
Third-party vendor interference
-
Society, builder, or government restrictions
-
Natural calamities, pandemics, strikes, or other force majeure events
-
Refunds, if any, in such cases shall be at the sole discretion of the Company.
11. Refund Processing
Approved refunds (only where applicable) will be processed to the original payment source.
Processing timeline: 7–15 working days, excluding bank delays.
❌ No cash refunds shall be issued.
12. Termination by RAS Spaces
RAS Spaces reserves the right to terminate the project without refund in cases of:

Repeated payment defaults
-
Abusive, threatening, or unethical behavior
-
Continuous scope changes beyond agreed terms
-
Legal or compliance violations
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Courts of Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
